DESCRIPTION Identical to the Kalahari gemsbok, except that it is somewhat paler and grayer, and has smaller horns.
DISTRIBUTION Only in the Mocâmedes Desert region of southwestern Angola.
TAXONOMIC NOTES Most authorities do not think this race merits separation from the Kalahari gemsbok; however, SCI recognizes it as a traditional hunting category.
